Savannah Campbell

M.A.

PRE-LICENSED THERAPIST

My approach to wellness includes all aspects: mind, body, and spirit and I utilize a strengths-based approach that emphasizes the amazing capabilities we have as human beings and help individuals incorporate those strengths in daily life. I’ve worked in community mental health as well as in drug and alcohol settings. I provide care from a place of openness and compassion, ensuring that every experience is a safe place for exploration and growth. I also understand that life is not always a happy place and I strive to encourage a space that is available to process all emotions across the continuum.

I strive to always create a space that is non-judgmental and open – a space that will allow for personal exploration and development. I aim to be flexible in all aspects and I am always willing to let the client set the pace of each session. We can include any aspects of life that are relevant to the client, including spirituality, sexuality, and any relational issues or concerns. My past history of counseling has focused on major themes such as depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, self-esteem, and relational concerns.

I have experience working with individuals of all ages and from all walks of life. It is my core belief that every individual has the potential to seek and find change and healing, sometimes with a little support and other times with more intensive support. My goal is to work with each individual to establish achievable goals that can help to increase quality of life.

I have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Geneva College and an undergraduate degree in Child and Family Services also from Geneva College and am currently in the process of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.
