What is Individual Therapy?
Individual therapy is a method of psychotherapy in which a client and trained therapist regularly meet to work through a variety of potential mental health concerns. Therapy is a space in which you are able to freely explore areas of your life. This may include your emotions, distressing thoughts, difficult relationships, tough life circumstances, and much more. The great thing about individual therapy is that it is what you make it. It is the job of the therapist to support you through your journey to achieve positive mental health, which includes exploring and talking about what you find meaningful each session.
Therapy has time and time again been supported by research as an effective and beneficial tool to create positive mental health change. Some benefits include:

Emotional relief. Openly discussing how we can be unbelievably relieving. Building better relationships with our emotions helps us build better relationships with ourselves.
